Promoting and Preserving Attleboro’s Historical Treasures

The Attleboro Historic Preservation Society, Inc. (AHPS) was organized in 1999 by a group of citizens concerned with the future of the East Attleborough Academy Building located at 28 Sanford Street in downtown Attleboro.


Preserve, promote and develop the historical assets of the Attleboro


Gather additional historical information and events from citizens and volunteers


Promote the study, collection and preservation of historical records, traditions, relics, landscapes, landmarks and buildings


Promote the education of all citizens of Attleboro as to the historical treasures located within the city
