On Thursday, September 17, the Attleboro Historic Preservation Society gathered at the Attleboro Area Industrial Museum for our annual Show and Tell program.
The evening gave members and guests an opportunity to share interesting artifacts, photographs, documents, stories, and pieces of local history. Presenters brought a variety of items to the group, leading to conversations about Attleboro’s people, businesses, inventions, and the everyday objects that help tell our community’s story.
Part of the fun of Show and Tell is never knowing what will turn up! Each object or photograph offers an opportunity to learn something new, exchange information, and sometimes even help solve a local history mystery.
Thank you to everyone who brought something to share, told a story, asked a question, or simply came to listen. Programs like this remind us that much of Attleboro’s history is still found in the collections, memories, and stories of the people who live here.
