Postcards Then and Now offers a unique visual journey through Attleboro’s past and present by pairing historic postcards from the early 1900s with modern-day recreations of the same scenes. Originally sent between 1900 and 1910, these postcards captured everyday moments, iconic buildings, and bustling streets of a growing town. For this project, we revisited many of these locations and carefully photographed them from nearly identical perspectives, using artistic techniques to replicate the tone and feel of the original images. The result is an interactive “then and now” experience that highlights both the dramatic changes and surprising consistencies in Attleboro’s evolving landscape.
