Before Lexington & Concord: Attleboro’s Road to Revolution

Before the first shots were fired at Lexington and Concord, the road to revolution ran through Attleboro. Join the Attleboro Historic Preservation Society for a special evening with historian Richard Foster, who will explore Attleboro’s vital role in the early events leading up to the American Revolution.
This program is presented in partnership with the Attleboro Arts Museum and coincides with the exhibit Focus on the Past, created in recognition of the upcoming 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Visitors are invited to view original artwork inspired by historical artifacts from the museum’s permanent collection, followed by Foster’s engaging lecture.
Free and open to the public.
